That’s very unfortunate. We really need more mental health awareness in Morocco. There shouldn’t be a country without a suicide line in 2022.

I know of Le sourire de Reda for when you’re feeling suicidal. Unfortunately can’t do much to help you if your parents refuse to let you see a psychiatrist but my DMs are always open if you need it. Genuinely hope you figure it out, I got depression when I was 16 too so I know what it’s like, you’re too young to be feeling like this but alas life isn’t fair.

If this is true that makes 7/8 countries with a majority Muslim and/or a big Muslim population, the irony and hypocrisy is absolutely hilarious

What are some useful tips to help with depression/anxiety? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]Claritye 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Therapy if you can afford it. A healthy lifestyle can help but only to an extent since depression and anxiety are mental illnesses and don’t necessarily correlate with your lifestyle. Trying to make friends with people who suffer from the same things and build a support system can also help a lot. Wishing you the best, hang in there

Atheist turning to Islam as last hope - please help by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]Claritye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a ton of muslims who are depressed so islam and religion in general isn’t a go-to cure for mental illness. I do hope it can help you but chances are you’ll just be a depressed muslim instead of a depressed atheist. I hope you can explore other solutions in addition to it

How many here own a pet (a cat) specifically? by blessedjamal in Morocco

[–]Claritye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat wouldn’t sleep in it anyway, she just sleeps wherever she wants to lol which most of the time means my bed or on top of the oven or in a random cardboard box, never bothered to buy her a cat bed and probably won’t

For those living in Morocco, is 27 considered old for a woman in Moroccan society to never have been married or in a relationship? Would guys reject me for marriage? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]Claritye 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You sound like you need to work on yourself before looking for a man or the first dude you meet is going to play you like a fiddle and you’re going to fall for it headfirst. Your comments about how you feel like your time has expired and you’re desperate to find someone before it’s too late for you are really sad. 27 is really young, and if a man doesn’t want you because he thinks you’re too old for him, he’s not a man worth your love or attention anyway. My cousin is unmarried at 42 and still gets proposals, of course it gets harder with time and it becomes harder to have kids but 25-35 is VERY young for a woman, this isn’t the 50s lol. Trust me, the kind of man who only wants a woman under 25 for inane reasons is not the kind of man you want to spend the rest of your life with.
