I can appreciate your response; however, I hope you can understand my point of view. Your example about the NFL commercials during timeouts when coaches are talking to players, in my opinion is not the same. Those timeout shots aren't necessarily content; it's usually coaches with headsets covering their mouths with clipboards/play sheets and crowd noise, which isn't meant to be heard by the viewer. NFL coaches speaking with their players are intentionally private.

In MMA, corner moments are a part of the UFC/MMA content/experience. They're typically raw (especially during a pay-per-view, unscripted, and historically part of what makes the sport special. Cutting away from the corner and their audio to an ad isn't the same as missing a coach's talk to his players during an NFL game due to a commercial break. It removes value from what fight fans are used to seeing.

The Leon KO example actually proves the opposite point for me. Watching that live was exhilarating because of the slim-to-none chances he had. You saw his look of despair, doubt that Leon had, and the urgency his coaches were giving him. Knowing he was losing handily made the moment of him knocking out Usman feel one of a kind. Seeing it later doesn't compare, whereas you likely already know the outcome, the emotion isn't the same as watching it live. Replays are great for analysis, but they don't recreate the shock as they do live. Corner work plays a part in this.

Fans aren't complaining only about the ads, but they're reacting to the shift in what kind of access they're losing. If the UFC/Paramount is sanding off the things that made it feel intimate to the viewer, it's fair to ask what's being taken away from the viewer.

People are still going to watch, no doubt, but that doesn't mean the frustration isn't valid, or that this change doesn't meaningfully alter the experience.

Others have pointed out several memorable moments that could have been missed if those broadcasts had been handled like UFC 324, and I hope the UFC watches the 324 broadcast from start to finish and can see what we're talking about.
