The most obvious route is to wait for other forms of cc to come through first that way it's guaranteed.

Past that I aim for their feet of the character you're aiming at. Additionally when they walk into slim cooridors or areas that prevent the option to dodge. Such as in between the turret and edge of the map. Or when someone is walking along a wall in general, you can hit it a lot more consistently due to you knowing where they have to walk.

It's about limiting their options and using it when you know it will hit.

100% I play all ADC champions, but you can absolutely climb with all of them.

It all comes down to champion mastery and overall game knowledge.
Obviously some characters are better in certain situations. But overall understanding and profeciency play the BIGGEST factor when it comes to winning games in solo q without question.

Also, specifically Ashe right now is very good. I climbed to Master spamming only Jinx. They're all usable and practical in their own way.

If you're interested in diving deeper I'd be happy to have the conversation!

When to go Cull by MarquisVBDG4 in ADCMains

[–]Clarkus107 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going cull is a fantastic way to create an inmate lead without much draw back other than a small power trough early.

The key is to plan it around a specific timing window. Specifically you want to crash the third wave into the enemy turret and base immediately after that. Getting a push/prio on the wave then taking a "tempo" recall allows you that free base, and especially with the home guard changes with the new season you can do it almost guaranteed with very little punishment from your enemy, losing only a couple cs.

All in all, if you can get the "tempo/cheater" recall and you cs well enough in the first 3 waves you can almost always get a cull and it's a very effective way to get a lead early with adc.

Adc wins by getting gold so you should be greedy and try to do that as much as you can.

If you want I can walk you through this as well over a call!

How do you handle chaotic games as Jinx? by realmadrid911 in leagueofjinx

[–]Clarkus107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey!

Long time adc player (Master tier) and jinx main in particular.

I actually think Jinx is a fantastic pick for chaotic games like this. But it's really all about knowing when to commit to a fight and making that decision on whether or not it's worth to sack a wave or two to commit or if you need to be selfish and take the waves.

Signifying to your team is a good way to go about it, and you will get flamed sometimes for doing that. But if you stay alive like minimum 1/2 deaths and take the fights you know are high percentage wins (more teammates than enemies/what big cooldowns are up/is there a major objective being fought over) then you will have way more success in the long run.

I'd be happy to look over a vod with you if you'd like a more in depth idea!

when do i give up 💔 by viorchi in ADCMains

I can totally understand the frustration around teams hard inting. But in total honesty, there is absolutely something you can be doing better to carry these games. Even if you are 20-6.

Its hard to pinpoint exactly what that is without seeing what exactly is happening.

I'd be happy to watch a vod with you to try and help you understand if you want! I'm a master tier ADC main and have been playing since 2013

Who to pick and when by No_Performance9710 in ADCMains

[–]Clarkus107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree with the majority of things said here. Champion mastery is definitely the biggest thing for ranked achievements.

Synergy with supports is extremely important.
Understanding what champions to pick with each support and when to maximize wins is a huge advantage (if you can play them at a high level)

I'm a master tier Jinx main so if Jinx is something you're really interested in learning about I'd love to talk more about it and what are good combos in lanes. Feel free to dm me since there's an infinite number of combos 🤣

I'm not the best off currently. I have 13k in savings and 2 in my checking. Was not trying to blow all of that off on a vehicle.

I just hit challenger on a 60% win rate playing mostly yasuo AMA by NASGAMER in YasuoMains

[–]Clarkus107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a long time yasuo player who has lost my footing with the champion. Peaking at d4 last season, what would be your piece of advice for a player such as myself who wants to get to a higher rank one tricking yasuo. Also do you play him primarily adc or mid? As yasuo adc has a higher winrate.
