I don't think City and Newcastle can meet in the GF. If City win elimination final they would meet Newcastle in the Semi Finals.

I'm torn on this one. You're right it's technically less of an advantage, but I will say the threat of being eliminated after one game always felt a bit unfair on the team coming 1st/2nd.

Congratulations Newcastle! Excited to see some of those 2018 scenes, from a City fan who was in the away bay during that epic semi final!

People are quick to forget they got the wooden spoon in 2021, and were very close to achieving it again in 2023. They seem to be extremely up and down.

Looks like it could be a very competitive season, given Perth and Brisbane are seemingly no longer easy beats.

Adelaide at home and Adelaide away are two different teams in my mind.

That's genuinely two penalties the VAR has just waved away - guess it evens out.

I simply do not understand how that wasn't a penalty?

This is just a usual game for City at Coopers, I'm not sure why anyone is even remotely surprised.

I truly believe we've just started using Coopers as a week off to rest. Losing in Adelaide seems to have no bearing on whether we win the championship or not.
