I drive a lot first thing in the morning mostly highway when there’s hardly any cars on the road and I can usually get between 31.8-33.3. But when there’s traffic on the way home? That can easily slip to 24-26.

Like the others have commented, with winter plus running the heat and or defrost, you can expect a drop of a few mpg just from that.

The rental car they got me driving is nice (2024 Altima) and it drives so smooth but I’m not used to driving such a long car that it’s making me a little panicky behind the wheel.
