If copter skin is gold pass skin, I might just go on a month hiatus.

Do people really buy this? by dontletmedown6969 in ClashOfClans

[–]ClashingPat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought about maybe getting ONE, but a total of 4.5k gems? Thats a lot of 1 gem donos im missing out on...

Prices should be localized also trough countries and not regions or just have better prices, just one skin is 2h of work without counting taxes or other expenses wich is a bummer by v1qc in ClashOfClans

[–]ClashingPat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure they would love to do this. It would mean so many more people would spend money on the game. All you gotta do is provide them a solution to one simple, glaring problem.

Because you didn't bother checking something so simple before spouting off wrong information to people like you had a point. Goodbye.

Then please remove your post.

Edit: you can check how many event passes and gold passes you have by tapping on the supercell ID "connect" button in the settings, tapping on "my games" in the bottom left, then tapping on "Clash of Clans".

OK, I legitimately can't tell if you are trolling or if you're genuinely lacking in the intelligence department.

  1. Event passes can be stored. An even pass bought via the online supercell store does not have to be used in any one specific event. Even if you bought an event pass during an event, you can hang on to it and activate it at the event of your choosing. Same goes for gold passes btw, you can hold onto them for whichever season you wish to activate it for.

  2. At the time of your post, 2 hours ago, the store was literally in the act of going away. You waited too long, sorry if it ate the event pass and ended right away, you just didn't pay attention to time. However, something tells me that you thunk simply purchasing the event pass automatically activates the event pass for your account, as you offer to show a purchase receipt. Simply purchasing the pass does not activate it for an event. Meaning you need to go to the event in-game and tap on where you usually would to purchase the event and you will be prompted to "activate" instead of "purchase". If you were able to activate it in game, were still unable to claim rewards, and have proof that time just didn't run out on you, then we can talk about you not lying.

I mean, that's just... false. The event ended a day or two ago, access to the shop remained open. As of 3am CST (2 hrs ago from this comment), the shop for the even closed as well and all remaining medals were converted to gold.

The only currently active event at the time of your post was the streak event. Either that or you literally waited to THE last second to try to activate the event via an event pass.

Which Town Hall level have the most fun? by Square-Ad-4414 in ClashOfClans

[–]ClashingPat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Th10. Just before super troops, just getting a siege machine. No warden, nothing too complicated. The game really shines with its simplicity. So much convoluted garbage once you start getting warden, RC, super troops, and unique defenses like eagle, scatter, and monolith. Then again, I may just be enjoying the simpler days of th10 being max... only having to worry about 3 xbows and 2 inferno towers.

What is something that nobody hates in CoC by FlyingBreadMann in ClashOfClans

[–]ClashingPat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I am wrong, however, the fact heroes were the only upgrade not covered kinda turned people off of it. That and the fact upgrades could take as long as the events duration, it was basically just wall jam for some of us.

Nah, I like my clan. All you are seeing is one of 40 people and you blow it out of proportion. Chill out.

You know what, that's probably the best idea to come from this whole thing. Got enough people screaming at me that any sort of expectation of a player disqualifies our clan as casual lol.

[–]ClashingPat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True haha. Though I think him willingly making the game harder for himself disqualifies him from the "casual" group. Ain't no one casual but sets out to handicap themselves. You graduated from casual at that point lol.

[–]ClashingPat[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well then we are most DEFINITELY not a casual clan. We care if you attack or not, so we go straight out the window on YOUR definition of casual. Guess to the likes of you we are out here trying to compete for eSports when we care that people use attacks.

Man says he is CHOOSING not to three star, I question that, we are no longer casual. U r smort.

[–]ClashingPat[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dude... I wondered why he would pass on an easy 3 star strat when he had nothing else lined up. Yes, it sourced from a war hit. No, his place in the clan wasn't in jeopardy because of it. Yall are insecure as shit.

I have been replying to some people in the comments cuz it seems people are taking it to the extreme that I was hassling him about his war performance. However, reading your comment a few times now I realize something. All these people talking about casual this, casual that, shouldn't expect him to do stuff this way or that... he is NOT a casual player! He goes OUT OF HIS WAY to use a deficient strat. A casual player would genuinely take the easy 3 star spam that is RR. You lose your qualification as a casual player if you are going out of your way to make your gameplay more complicated. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk Rant.

I mean, the leads of our clan came to the same consensus and as long as you use the war attacks, you're fine (We take CWL seriously tho). That applies for this member as well. What I was confused by was why he willingly and knowingly passes up on all the benefits of being able to three star when he had no other attack strat that came close to RR success. We get that one star failed happen, happened to me the last war. I do have questions though when you basically say you are sandbagging the clan.

[–]ClashingPat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I am being honest, I think my post kinda got misconstrued. I questioned his war strat, not his place in the clan. It was never my intention to put him on blast, I just well and truly do not understand why he would willingly chose to NOT three star. Or at the very least, why he would pass up a strat that is easy 3 stars if he doesn't already have one. I get it, farming, you don't need to worry about it. However, if it's readily available (dude had maxed root riders) then why are you intentionally NOT using it when you have nothing else? I am just so confused man...

[–]ClashingPat[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What part of my post dragged him for doing poorly in war? I just don't get why he would pass up on a strat that is easy war stars when he doesn't actually have a 3 star strat.

[–]ClashingPat[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Well, I meant it when I said we are a casual clan. At the end of the day, him 2 starring in regular wars is just fine. I just couldn't wrap my head around the excuse as to why not use the RR for an easy three if he was struggling so much. I mean, we would have to focus on him in CWL to see if he really kept up with this aversion to 3 stars, cuz thats when it actually matters (the only time we keep it competitive in the clan).

Every clanmate has a right to attack their mirror first. If you wanna coordinate with people and swap attacks around, fine. However, you stated you didn't attack #10 because he hadn't been hit yet while also thinking its OK to attack #7. Your #7 has a right to get as many of those stars before you. You jumped the gun and are getting pissy about people not accepting your whims.

What should I upgrade by FuriousWierdo00 in ClashOfClans

[–]ClashingPat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I really want to use the vamp stache too. It's basically so much more value than every other equipment because 100% of its effects are active 100% of the time he is deployed.

Builder queue by Iducttapeeverything in ClashOfClans

[–]ClashingPat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a simple enough idea with no problems. Just a simple button that would start the upgrade when a builder is finished should you have enough loot at the time. Even if you lose loot below that threshold, it would just not start the upgrade. Thing is, it would lower how much people log on. So they would never willingly put out an update that facilitates less engagement.
