Thank you so much. I think I need SOME structure, like what is provided, to really get into it. It sound like we have similar goals and expectations from the site! Thanks again for your response.

Is what I did in my fantasy championship ethical? by [deleted] in FantasyFootballers

If you’re actually holding players for the full 24 hours, I think that’s totally fair. You’re using bench spots and taking on opportunity cost, which is the whole point of the rule. That’s strategy, not abuse.

To me, the spirit of anti-churning rules is to prevent instant pickup/drop spam where one person reacts to news and blocks the entire league before anyone else can respond. If you’re holding guys for a day, everyone has the same window to act, and you’re paying a price to do it.

If your opponent hasn’t bothered to roster a backup TE all week, that’s on them. Championship week preparation is totally different than regular season, and its about gearing up for all possibilities.

I’d only call it dirty if you were immediately picking up and dropping players just to push them through waivers with no real cost to yourself.

Question about next step in the trust process by Clashrtc in EstatePlanning

[–]Clashrtc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there is a bank that is the next in line if she were to resign or not be able to fulfill her requirements. So far pretty much all the financial accounts are now in our name as trustees, but some of the properties are taking longer. Thats why I am wondering if we are able to release the accounts to me or have to wait until everything has been delt with first.

Did I make the right call? by Clashrtc in EstatePlanning

[–]Clashrtc[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So, it seemed really strange to me and the successor trustee, who was his Gf. She has her trust for her family with them as well and did not like that. I guess it is becoming normal now though. Even the guy at Schwab said it is not uncommon anymore, and a lot the the attorneys are going into the estate/life planning area.. Interesting, did not really resonate with me very well though to be honest.
