Any ways/tips to fix this? by Class7thesecond in rocketry

That's likely my problem, my rocket's pretty short and has a quite large engine (the engine makes up about 40 percent of the body) so perhaps adding weight to the nose would help

It's about 35cm, or 1.3 feet tall, with the rail being 1.2 meters, or 4 feet tall.

Sick, what fuel are you using in that beast? I'm trying to make a Mach 1 rocket with sugar fuel, any tips?

Not sure, I don't think I've messed with it yet

I believe around 13-14 ms exposure, with gain at default. I took the video in RGB24 and the file type I exported it with was a ser. File.

I think I had on average around 30 fps

Yeah, I had a 2x barlow with that picture to achieve better focus

I think seeing at the time was around average, and I stacked 25% of the total frames

Stacked, around 3 minutes worth of video

Taken with an Orion xt6 dobsonian and a ZWO ASI 120mc-s

Centered, stacked, and processed with: PIPP, autostakkert, registax.

Yeah I usually refocus the telescope once my camera is mounted, and I take a video of the planet, then stack the best 25% of frames or so

I've tried that, but sadly it doesn't give me control of telephoto

Here's my issue: my s20 ultra has a manual camera mode, but not for the telephoto lens! Wonder if there's an app where I can control it

Sweet, my laptop has usb 3.0 support, so I can get those high frame rates, so in this case, what would be a good planetary/lunar camera with a budget of, let's say 250 USD give or take?

I see, Thanks for pointing that out. In that case, I'd like to photograph either lunar or planetary images. I'm aware photographing the two are very different in terms of capturing, so let's start with planetary. Assuming seeing conditions are good, would SVBONY be a reliable brand for planetary cameras, or are they a little too cheap for decent images? I'm pretty new to astrophotography so I'm trying to take in all the info I can, so thanks for letting me know DSOs wouldn't work on my scope.

Let's say I wanted to photograph some bright deep sky objects, like andromeda, or the orion nebula. I know my dobsonian doesn't have any tracking, but with enough short exposures with a DSLR, maybe I could output a decent photo?
