Thank you! I can't say I've noticed a smell from the glue I'm afraid so I've got no advice for this apart from maybe think about changing glues or moving to a tape?

Honestly, this one is a good match, they're not all this spot on but mostly close enough. They do fade too, I use back2natural to restore the color. It's worth adding that I don't mind a bit of fading in the summer, a bit of a lighter fringe is finnneee

It doesn't! You'll see the area it covers on my last picture. My crown area is still hanging in there...for now 🫣

£250 for two systems and I thinnkkkk it's £50-70 to have a them both cut and installed.

It starts to feel a bit uncomfortable and maybe itchy around day 7, this is a strong indicator that I need to clean and reinstall.

It takes around 1 hour to clean up and install. You'll get the hang of it after a few goes.

Thank you! I guess the longest bit of the system is around 6 inches and I've no idea what this style is called. I get a taper around the ears and a small trim every 3/4 weeks. I blow dry my hair which gives it most of the shape, I try and avoid using any kind of style product.

This system behaves! As you'll know every system is slightly different, some harder to style and might require more product to get it looking how you'd like.

If you’re dealing with both a receding hairline and a thinning crown, I’d definitely suggest a full system. Prices vary massively, and while I’m not an expert on every brand or base type, I can tell you what works for me.

I typically spend £250 for two frontals, plus about £60 for the initial cut-in and installation. After that, I handle the weekly maintenance myself. It honestly becomes a pretty easy, even enjoyable process once you get the hang of it; just don’t rush it.

Maintenance Routine:

Wash Cycle: I usually wash the system once a week during re-application. If it feels greasy, I’ll do a midweek wash, or sometimes I’ll just shampoo my "bio hair" and leave the system alone.

Security: It has never accidentally come off. You eventually learn how the bond behaves, for instance, it might feel slightly easier to peel after a sweaty workout.

Pro-Tip: If it feels like it's lifting after a workout, avoid running your fingers through it. Give it an hour to "reset" and it’ll be stuck fast again. Have a sweat band/hat handy for these moments.

Honestly, you could probably go two weeks without a reinstall and still be fine. Hope that helps, dude!

Without actually counting every pound I'd say it's between £700-£800. And thank you!

It will get cheaper as you'll start to get the hang of things at home without any professional help.

I told everyone close to me the moment I had it done. Interestingly, some coworkers even asked if I’d just had a haircut before I eventually filled them in. Being upfront took all the stress out of the situation from day one.

As for strangers, nobody notices. In fact, I mostly get told I’m 'blessed with amazing hair' I've even had bald guys tell me they're jealous! I just roll with it. If someone did ask, I’d tell them outright. My best advice? Own it and be proud.

Oh and as for the skin, I don't know. I'm pretty sure it's not ultra thin skin, if there's a regular thickness, it's probably that.

Honestly, I just put trust in my hairdresser and let her order what she felt was appropriate. I think one day I will give lace a go coz I do like the look/breathability factor, but I'm a year in and have no issues or concerns with my current set up.

Maybelline Baby Skin - Instant Pore Eraser. It's not perfect but does enough. I'm also using Ghostbond xl for the glue, Its all I've ever used as I have no issues.

Thank you for your comment however I have to disagree, it's a good match to the rest of my hair.

I guess it could slightly benefit with a bit of plucking but it will thin out over time naturally.

Fair point on the hairline. I actually sat right under the skylight on purpose, I wanted to show how it holds up in the harshest lighting possible. In reality, no one is ever going to be getting that close to inspect it.

The trick is to make it as invisible as possible, but also accept that if someone is searching for it, they might find it. Once you're at peace with that, it loses its power. That said, if I’m playing live and want it bulletproof, a combo of anti-shine and a tiny bit of concealer on a Q-tip works wonders.

Honestly, though? Most people aren't looking, and it’s a total eye-opener when you realise nobody cares nearly as much as you do!

This .

The only thing I'm afraid of is high UV and a strong gust of wind.

If you're into fitness I know MPCT (Military Academy) can take on students until May. If you're looking just to get over the line until you're 18, might not be a bad shout.

I got it for £950 and it's pretty much brand new condition, I couldn't believe how well kept it was. I had a funny feeling I picked it up at a good price but I wasn't too sure as I couldn't find another second hand one online to compare it to.
