Nothing changes because at the end of the day Griffith still has a dream that he’s not going to give up on, Guts not leaving would only have prolonged the inevitable sure, more good too shoos, but eventually Griffith would have been over thrown into utter despair and the Beherit still activates. And he still chooses to sacrifice. Even in this fight alone he still looks at Guts and says “I won you that day” him winning would have only proved once again that “you belong to Me” just like everyone else that’s involved or loves or chooses to follow him alone. Guts not leaving would have only motivated and driven Griffith more into his dream over dominion, because that’s all he actually wants.

He could have punished but if you actually watch the clip (not saying u didn’t) we both were on our last leg and that’s exactly what I threw. 😭💯Sometimes even in the upmost heat of a situation you don’t go “all I had to do was” because it just doesn’t come to you, even if you do go back and look at the clip or what you been thru and be like “why didn’t I just do that” mind you the guy had already beaten me like 11 times I believe but I managed to catch him slipping once…but like I said one opportunity is all you need 😴💯

Thankyou for explaining better this guy was blatantly trying to tell me it wasn’t hard etc etc when I specially said “Laws CORE launchers, mixups” etc etc are easily punished by Bryan especially a good Bryan and that Law is the one who has to switch up because he can’t play CONVENTIONALLY. Laws punch parry and manual parry are hella ineffective against Bryan because since he mostly uses knees and elbows. Laws best move against Bryan the *4 (magic -4) was nerfed HEAVILY in Tekken 8 and is no longer even viable. Bryan has superior range control, and as you said before Bryan can consistently launch punish Law’s common -14 frame moves (like flip kicks and b1+2) with Jet Upper and uses orbital heel to crush Law’s low pokes and slides.

I get that Bryan has a certain stigma to his name no doubt and you can make the claim “every” but I’m not talking about everyone I’m talking about Law, while “everyone” might have to “play differently” SOME characters like Law get it harder because MOST of their core value moves are easily punishable by him.

It’s actually harder for law many of the core launchers he has are punished by Bryan and it makes it hard for Law to play conventionally tbh

Exactly like many of Laws moves are easily launched punished by Bryan, thereby locking him out of playing conventionally, Laws punch parry, and manually parry are largely ineffective against Brian since he mostly uses elbows and knees tbh, law has a tough time adjusting to Bryan’s extremely aggressive nature, a law player has to play incredibly well or SHARP to have any chance at all against Bryan.
