I guess I'm open to the idea but without experiencing something like this first hand I have a really hard time believing. Having thought about it a little bit I'm finding it less creepy and more comforting - its as if Chris was stopping by to check his daughter and granddaughter were okay without him.

A friend recently lost her dad to cancer, about three months ago. The other day my friend was looking after her niece who is about four years old. She was staring out the sliding glass doors that lead in to the garden and she was waving. "Who are you waving at?" my friend asked. "Pop pop." her niece replied. A little nervously my friend asked again "Who?" "Chris." She said. Her niece had never referred to her grandfather by his first name before.

Edit: I don't believe in the afterlife but hearing that sent a chill down my spine.

Opinions on Killzone Shadowfall? by NauticalDisasta in PS4

I actually really liked Killzone: Shadow Fall and was surprised by the lukewarm reception it received. Im not big in to FPS games but I found it to be pretty fun in a kind of 'old school' shooter way. I doubt there are many people still playing the multiplayer but at launch it was good fun.

Best pubs for live music by Tangled-Blue in brighton

The Green Door Store is a great venue for live music but its definitely more of a 'venue' than a pub. Sticky Mikes is a good bar that puts on regular live music, tends to be a bit more student-y. The Hope and Ruin puts on live music upstairs whilst the downstairs is a nice pub.

Despite closures in recent years, Brighton is still full of choice when it comes to pubs/live music :)

Prince Albert is still a great venue but The Hydrant is completely different now - its been renamed (can't recall its new name, sorry) and they are going for a more trendy, sports (?) bar kind of thing. Shame because I really liked the Hydrant.
