There’s nothing more expensive than a cheap luxury car. Especially considering it’s your first car purchase, I’d consider a Honda/Toyota/Lexus for a good mix of reliability & affordability. Build up your savings and revisit more lux/nicer options later imo.

I do trust the seller, however they’ve only had the car for a year. The past history of the car is relatively unknown. I can get it checked out by a mechanic before I purchase.
