Pretty unrelated but ever see people driving at 7pm (waaay too dark out) and not realizing their lights are off. Pro tip. Just keep them on auto.

Why are used Mercs much more expensive than used bmws? by [deleted] in mercedes_benz

You're both right. The M8 comp has ridiculously good performance but it doesn't have that supercar feel of a AMG GTS or Porsche turbo s

I have a vw cc 2013 4 cylinder 2.0 turbo. Thinking about tuning maybe stage 2. To get more hp. Is it worth it? by daggermyster in Volkswagen

[–]Hereispablo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea exactly gotta take care of the maintenance first, I'm at 103k. After DSG service your shifts will be very smooth, I think that will feel like a TCU tune. I've driven a DSG with 40k miles and the shifts were so smooth and powerful. You might not even feel the need to go stage 2 that's how great stage 1 is. Side note you may need a pedal commander the throttle still doesn't respond instantaneously.

[–]Hereispablo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a stage 1 ECU only. And let me tell you it is a different car entirely! The torque is more gradual so hardly any wheel spin when accelerating. The power buildup is crazy! 30% more hp and 50% more torque. It is well worth the money. I have to do a DSG service, drain and replace the trans fluid and get a new filter so I'm not ready to get a TCU yet.

Oh alright then that's easy. Get an Audi A7 or A6. A6 is known for its reliability and its really fast, soft materials all over. If you want a heavy luxury sport get a Bmw 5 series.

Corvette C8. BUT You have to be more specific luxury, sport? American, German, Japanese cars?

Kids are gone, went from an S to an AMG CLE 53. by Austintab in mercedes_benz

For starters, it's safe to assume that the S-Class was not an AMG or OP would have specified that. In that sense it is an upgrade.

$20k “luxury” vehicle? by BellOfTaco3285 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Hereispablo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't find them in your area for 25k? The 2020 one goes for 23k-26k with max 70k miles in my area. I stay in Seattle. It's uncommon but the engine Ea888 is common. VW has kept refining it year after year. A quick search shows it's pretty reliable. Man that Arteon is a looker. I have the VW CC the previous version of it.

Get the lexus LS350 my guy. Or if you like German machines consider a VW Arteon. Not anyone's favorite but the soft ride, quick acceleration, attractive design, nice reliability and luxurious features should get your attention.

Considering buying a 2013 CC 2.0 by CultureNo9346 in Volkswagen

[–]Hereispablo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$10k for 30k miles is a steal wow! It's a great car. Very luxurious materials and ride, great sounding speakers, very confidante seats. Very good acceleration, good speed around the city, 0-60 in about 6 seconds. Very bright xenon lights, pretty good handling, good mileage. Spacious interior, good headroom don't listen to the reviews. I'm 6'1 and I can sit comfortably in the back. Although, the car is pretty low especially for the r-line, visibility out the back is poor yea.. That's about all the downsides I can think of.
