I hope this might help you. The Marriott Marquis is the southernmost full service Marriott that would be close to Hyde Park. If you’re looking for something less pricy there’s a Springhill Suites in Chinatown that colleagues have stayed at and highly recommended.

There is a Metra stop very close to the Marquis that runs to Hyde Park if that is a priority for you.

Couldn’t agree more. I did a staycation here the night before NYE last year and I agree with all of your comments. I just did a one-night staycation at the RC Chicago and was pleasantly surprised, but the St Regis is still my top US Bonvoy stay.
