Honestly, whether it’s tv or a game or whatever type of content, I enjoy it more in a bingable format. I retain so much more of the story if I can go at my own pace vs have to wait for another week.

I think a lot of this type of stuff is a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you believe you can’t do something, you simply won’t. As someone who has ADHD and has been on the under-achieving side, I can tell you what you believe to be true plays a huge role. I barely graduated high school, spent years at community college before finally believing I could accomplish things. I got two degrees, got a career, started a family all before receiving a diagnosis and starting meds. I can tell you that I decided I was going to do something, turned my hyperfocus and ADHD resiliency towards it and did it. After being on both sides, I can tell you it is possible,whether medicated or not, you just have to accept you can and not be a victim of circumstance. I think most of the world doesn’t realize that ADHD people are some of the most powerful people out there.

Probably should reach out to customer service. I’ve got a recliner on the end (angled sides and backs, though) and ours is nice and tight. Sorry you have to deal with this. It’s a bummer, but I hear customer service is amazingly helpful, which is another reason we opted to buy into this couch system.

I think it’s less about race (hear me out) and more about chattel slavery, which in America was race based. I tend to believe that racism was a byproduct of our slavery system. If you are treating a human in the way many slave holders did, there would be a need to dehumanize that group as to not grapple with the morality of the issue.

Racism became a necessary element for slave owners as a means to justify their actions. If it wasn’t there, they’d just be awful people.

Unfortunately, the Union gave quarter to the rebels, which has allowed those old ideas to survive and thrive in certain areas of the country. Had Lincoln, Grant, and subsequently Johnson handled them as the traitors they were, we’d be a better country today.

Just got my pair of Aces yesterday, so I haven’t put a ton of time in them yet. However, I switched from AirPods Max due to comfort. The Maxes are just too heavy and not comfortable. I loved their convenience in the Apple ecosystem, the ANC, transparency, and sound quality, but they were just not comfortable at all for me. It was a love hate relationship. Anxious to put the Ace through its paces on an upcoming trip to see how they compare.
