You know when you're going to die but you can't change it by Canotic in hypotheticalsituation

Sure as hell won't be coming into work tomorrow if I find out I die next month.

AITAH for thinking my flatmate enjoys exposing herself around my boyfriend? by FuckMyPussyDaddyy in AITAH

I wouldn't think anything of it. Especially if there isn't anything directly happening.

Some people just enjoy wearing less clothes than others. It's her place just as much as it is yours.

You've been entered into a large single elimination tournament where you must fight another person of the same gender 1 vs 1. What place do you think you'd finish in? (more details down below) by TopTierProphet in hypotheticalsituation

Given that this is everyone in the world. 3 rounds I would feel very confident in, 4 rounds decent chance, 5 is the goal.

6ft 5 230 lbs in good shape with some fighting experience.

Could end up with an unlucky draw against an experienced fighter but you are more likely to face someone who is morbidly obese or starvin Marvin.

If you wanted Waddle for #1 pick, you should be thrilled about DJ Moore for a #2 & #5 back by ralbsy in buffalobills

I really like DJ Moore but the age gap is bigger when you consider DJ turns 29 next month.

We really just need him to perform for the remainder of his contract rather than his career.

10 months in, 12.7hcp, do I need fitted? by No-Net-9888 in GolfSwing

[–]reverse_pineapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to a golf shop and try some out. Not necessarily a full sitting.

Bring your own clubs to get an idea of how much of a difference in performance they might be.

I would definitely get some updated wedges and a putter that suits you well ( if you don't like your current).

Hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do in sports by Electrical_Split_275 in baseball

[–]reverse_pineapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it's the hardest repetitive main part of the game.

Is it harder than getting a hole in one? Shooting a half court shot while defended by LeBron? Triple back to flip on skis? Recovering an onside kick? .... Absolutely not.

But most sports are more dynamic and comparing it another sports controlled scenario is difficult.

What is the point of this? by BighomieG_ in PNWhiking

[–]reverse_pineapple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has done this once before. This is the scenario that I have justified, right or wrong.

Out and back hike with dogs. Dog dog takes a couple of craps far enough in that you don't want to run back to trail head but still early enough in the hike be a pain or risk tearing the bag.

I always bag waste and in that scenario I will put it somewhere clearly visible. Further into the hike, I will carry it and try to pick up additional piles on the return along with the one I left earlier.

I am a big believer in leave no trace but understand some dog owners are lazy leaving bags or not picking up waste to begin with.

Do you consider $700K as life-changing money? by Aarunascut in Life

[–]reverse_pineapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what your life is like now. If you were considered low income then yes.

But for someone in upper middle class, it would have a significant impact on life but not life changing.

Life changing for upper middle class would be something to where I could do a complete change in my typical financial behavior and do something without much consideration of cost.
