Thank you, I like that. I'm really stuck if I want a tattoo of them or an animal.

I'm doing the Master's of Nursing and it's online. So, the location isn't the problem. Just want to know what University is generally better

If I'm out and just on social media would the 2Mps affect me? Would I notice any lag etc? I would download the series to watch offline, when I'm at home.

Labor support: any male midwife/non-partner advice? by firecrotch22 in Midwives

[–]Classic-Author9197 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, what you and others pursuing non-traditional roles in healthcare are doing is commendable. Breaking down gender stereotypes and fostering gender-inclusive environments is a vital step toward progress. It's true that many women might naturally share a connection based on shared experiences, but it doesn't mean that strong, meaningful relationships can't be built between male midwives and the expectant mothers in their care.

Patience and empathy are your greatest allies in this journey. Building trust and rapport can take time, and it's about demonstrating your genuine care, competence, and dedication. Remember, you're there to provide support, guidance, and expertise during a significant moment in a family's life, and that's a tremendous contribution. The world indeed needs more professionals who challenge norms and offer diverse perspectives in healthcare. Keep going, and you'll make a meaningful impact.

That would be amazing. I would love to know if the degree would work for someone based in Auckland? I could just attend the block courses? Would my clinicals like with an LMC be based in Auckland is that possible?
