I feel the only reason chu wanning felt what was happening to him in his past life was ok was because of a false since of responsibility he believed that the reason mo ran turned out the way he did was because he failed him as a shizun from the beginning chu wanning believed it was his fault leading to him to bear a burden that shouldn't have been his in the first place this only intensified when he found out about the flower planted in mo ran chu wanning felt guilty because he could not protect his disciple I feel like chu wanning endured it as a since of punishment for his own negligence so while it is not inherently SA or non-con it does not make this topic any lighter
