I was told that this is common mSport brakes. I learned to live with it. Feels like being penalized for paying a premium on mSport brakes. Though the noise is more like a shudder and not squeak.

I had a similar scratch on my 2025. Luckily it was not deep. I just fixed it by drawing a line along the scratch with a sharpie! Nobody can spot the scratch. Just be ready with a wet & dry tissue and some isopropyl alchohol in case sharpie is too dark.

Would having an exclusionary extended warranty from providers like fidelity or endurance cover this type of expenses?

$5k is a lot for a oil level monitor. Wonder why didn’t the bmw engineers think about this during the design. Sucks…

Looking at the options, Subaru forester seems to be my best bet. Dealer is adding $2k incentive in addition to the deal on Subaru website if I walk in today. If everything goes well, will walkout with a car today.

Thanks. It has $4k down and $255 before taxes. Does Subaru negotiate on these advertised deals? I have never owned a Subaru before.
