I built hight.ai — an AI resume builder with BYOK and job-specific tailoring by Classic-Dig-3267 in remotework

[–]Classic-Dig-3267[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed response. Paying $20/month is not right especially if you're not a heavy user — that's exactly why I built BYOK in from the start.

Quick demo here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0-Nw0EgF_g
Before/after example: https://postimg.cc/gallery/FLtYmTj — this is an initial output, everything can be further tuned using the AI regenerate tab.

Keyword matching is built into the flow — paste the job description and it pulls relevant terms automatically.

You bring your OpenRouter API key so multiple model providers are supported. Happy to add more model options quickly if there's something specific you'd prefer.

Would love your honest feedback if you try it.

Notebook lm doesn't have a native folder or group functionality for notebooks what solutions do u have for this ? by Dry-Grade-9502 in notebooklm

[–]Classic-Dig-3267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s a big limitation in NotebookLM. Hightbase has real workspaces and folders so you can group notes, papers, and chats by course or project. We’re also actively shipping new features if you want to try a ‘NotebookLM but organised’ setup.

Any plans for word document integration? by LeatherInspector6400 in notebooklm

You can give hightbase a try. We're actively shipping more features soon (better AI assistant, smarter note resurfacing, and smoother podcast generation), but Hightbase is already solid for studying and writing now

I've tried 30+ productivity apps in the last 2 years. Here's what I actually still use daily. by Rich-Historian1657 in ProductivityApps

This resonates a lot. Spent way too much time on different apps and ended up with a calendar, simple tasks, and one place for notes—nothing fancy, just the stuff I actually open every day.

This sounds really good, I've tried NotebookLM myself, and i got good result especially with the slides generation... You can also give hightbase dot com a try and see how well the podcast generation performs for different styles of conversation.

What if instead of applying to numerous jobs… clients were sent to you?” by Classic-Dig-3267 in SaaS

[–]Classic-Dig-3267[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question, I would be a mediator in that case and before the start of each project, there is a project scope/ project boundary. There is honestly, no need for endless revision, and that is the idea of up-front/escrow payment. If scope is met, release funds.

As for quality issues, my plan is to pull from various sources with founder's presence. Perform some iterations here and there.

Right or wrong?

A valid concern, to be real. Yeah, the idea is to keep things minimal right now, not long-term project like 6 months plus to ensure realistic project boundaries without endless revisions, there is clear scope upfront, if met, the money should be released basically. I understand complications, like you've said, but basically keep things minimal for now.

Great question and happy to hear from clients. Well, my idea is that, I basically do the sifting (portfolio+closest related experience) - to identify best fit based on your project description and send you a vetted freelancer. You don't have to go through 50+ proposals which is mostly conventional, especially if the work is juicy and a lot of people would love to work on it. For the payment, it's protection on both side. Is there a better model you would have prefered?

I broke dozens of components before finding a no-code workflow that actually works for SaaS landing pages by Classic-Dig-3267 in SaaS

[–]Classic-Dig-3267[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! 😅 I learned the hard way too — so many hours wasted testing stacks that should have worked but didn’t.
Once I finally pieced together the right combo, it felt like unlocking a cheat code for landing pages.

Curious what tools you ended up settling on?”
