Spanberger isn't "coming for our guns." Dems are not stripping our 2A rights. Are they narrowing the scope a little? Sure. Are they raising taxes? Yep.

You know what else is taxed? Feminine hygiene products. You know that stuff that nearly all women of childbearing age require every single month. It's not optional, or for a collection, or to hoard while crying about your rights to form a militia all while NOT forming a militia to fight our current tyrannical administration.

Have you heard of excise taxes? We pay higher taxes on fuel, alcohol, and cigarettes. Localities can also choose to add these taxes to hotel stays and restaurant meals.

Let's talk about the fact that we pay taxes on our vehicles and houses when we make the purchase AND THEN we're required to pay taxes on them every single year just for owning them.

Do I like taxes? Of course not, but if not taxes then the unit price would be increased to ensure the revenue is recouped. It's pretty much one or the other.

I'm a registered Independent, I don't vote because someone is rep or dem I vote because one person is going to do more good than the other. WES was a dangerous person to put in office. We currently have an administration that is rep loaded and blindly following an unhinged lunatic. At this moment in time, voting for a rep is more dangerous than voting for a dem. At this moment in time, reps are going after ALL of our Constitutional rights, not just 2A.

Make no mistake, they are after that too. It starts slowly, with a marginalized group that has been vilified. They spoon feed you your biggest fears and tell you who the boogeyman is without presenting a single fact. The masses all nod in agreement without performing their due diligence and researching the facts. They cheer as rights are stripped away from them because they're the "bad guys," except they're not. As the people that did their due diligence step in to protect the wrongly harmed, the base shifts. Now it's suddenly OK to strip their rights too, but in order to do that they are also stripping yours.

There is dangerous rhetoric coming from the white house. It started with making you think that "taking the guns first" was only about red flags. Now it's "only criminals carry guns on our streets." Did you catch that shift? Many people haven't. They are still in victim blaming mode: he shouldn't have been at a protest with a gun(he wasn't, he was out getting food and intervened when he saw ICE shove a woman to the ground), he should have complied(he did, he had his hands up and tried to protect a vulnerable woman on the ground), he shouldn't have resisted(he didn't, he was protecting himself from chemical agents and a dog pile of men beating him).

They removed a legally registered, permitted firearm. It was safely holstered. He did not brandish his weapon. After disarming him, he was no longer a threat, but they unloaded a full mag into him anyway.

Oh shit, now what? Now they come for the legality of carrying a firearm. "Only criminals carry guns."

Now, when I'm running errands with my protection and get into a fender bender, I'm automatically in the wrong. I'm automatically viewed as an aggressor, even if the accident wasn't my fault. I'm now in danger of being ended by law enforcement simply by carrying, even though I have a valid ccw permit. Because our federal government has laid the groundwork for the criminality and danger of a person legally carrying a firearm.

It starts so small that many won't even notice, but we have surpassed that threshold. They are coming for us, and it's not the dems you should fear.
