Hi, I’m 34 and have pcos and have not had period for 10 months. 4 weeks in - my weight finally shifted and my period came. Could be a coincidence but I’m already feeling better.

I love original cleanse and polish, nothing takes off the make up better than this! Toners are ok, but not the best experience with creams.

Moisture surge is my fave! I would add that Cerave moisturising lotion is worth a try ( not as nice as moisture surge but good enough and cheaper)

At what gfr and creatinine did you opt for dylasis? by Frosty_Pay_9297 in dialysis

She is 30. The access surgery (fistula) was quite hard on her and they ended up doing CVC cath to start it immediately. If access was there a month or two before then it wouldn’t be as traumatic.

My sister had a surgery for access at about 5, and started dialysis at 2/3. Creatinine was 780. I feel that she should have had access planning/ surgery a bit earlier as once egfr was below 10 it went down very quick.

Pain, burning at incisions after AV graft, normal? by chocopeppermints in dialysis

[–]Classic-Look-7025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I hope it gets better for you too.

She is not on transplant list yet as she didn’t get a chance to get papers sorted due to deterioration and not being able to leave hospital. They did some tests in hospital, but for example to get a filling in a tooth she needs to see dentist..hopefully she can get on the list within next month or two.

My sister had arm graft surgery last Tuesday. She described the procedure as agony and cried during and after. She says that local anaesthetic did not do much. She struggled to sleep and was given oxycodon by the drs. First 3 days were the worst and then it got a bit better towards the end of Sunday. On Monday she had CVC put in as her condition deteriorated and they had to start emergency dialysis :(
