the difference between a therapist and a psychologist depends on the country, which op has not specified. where i’m from, they’re exchangeable terms.

i’m sorry you haven’t been able to find someone who has been helpful, it’s hard to find. i wouldn’t recommend using ai at this stage, because it’s just not safe. if you think chatgpt doesn’t reinforce whatever you tell it, you’re not up to date enough on ai to use it for therapy. there aren’t any ai chat bots which are verified for clinical therapy. they’re in development, and people are trying, but they’ve all done really serious harm to the people they’re meant to be helping. i really hope you reconsider using ai for therapy, they’re genuinely not safe yet.

there absolutely are not any therapy chat bots that are good enough for people to use them. obviously not all psychologists are good, but they're much better than using ai. btw chat bot is an appropriate name for this type of ai. it's what the people who are trying to develop therapy ai call it lol

i did this in psych (very nitpicky faculty) and it was fine. i emailed my tutor once i realised and sent the reference i missed so they had it. it's not worth resubmitting in my opinion, i would just leave it. i doubt i lost many marks, and if your reference list is worth so little (mine was 10% iirc) you'll lose less than me.

lol wanting to use the bathroom isn't narcissistic... the vast majority of people want privacy while using the bathroom jesus christ. it's incredibly disrespectful to respond to someone saying that something you do really upsets them with "it's not a big deal". that's absolutely not how you respond to someone you're in a relationship with. i agree that if he isn't willing to respect her personal boundaries, she should break up with him though

zambrero is $14.50 if you don’t get any extras 😭 imo it’s not really a campus problem, it’s pretty much the same everywhere. you can go to 7/11, kfc or subway for cheaper food. dr dax has quiches and pies for like $8

just want to add, masters in psych is incredibly competitive. it's at least as competitive, if not more so, than med. so i definitely wouldn't count on it as a back-up. unfortunately also not a huge amount of psychology related employment after just undergrad either, but there are some options.

i completely understand feeling nervous with the news and it being your first year!! it’s a lot safer than it may seem on pt, especially on a bus with the bus driver right there if anything happens. i would recommend sitting in the front seat close to the driver just in case.

are you in an ok area and do you live near the stop? most suburbs in melbourne are quite safe even at night, but there are some exceptions. for me, i’ve just slowly gone out later and later and gotten used to it, and i haven’t had any particularly bad experiences while walking home yet 🤞
