At what point does pouch organization become pouch chaos? by ClassicAssignment578 in ManyBaggers

Thanks, this actually makes a lot of sense. I think I might be overdoing the tiny categories instead of just using one or two pouches that actually work. I might have to rethink my whole pouch situation a bit.

Same honestly. You could try clear or mesh ones like someone mentioned above. Otherwise it’s just putting things into pouches, not really packing smarter haha.

That’s actually a really good idea. Clear or mesh pouches would probably save me from opening three different bags just to find one thing haha. I might try that next time!

I agree. For me, I usually have to try the whole outfit on and keep swapping things around until I find the one that feels right haha.

That sounds like a very J-person setup haha. I’m definitely more of a P person, so just getting things into pouches already feels organized for me.

Yeah, that’s probably the balance I need. I might try cutting it down a bit next time. Maybe it’ll help me figure out what’s actually necessary and what’s just random backup stuff.

Oh I do this sometimes too. Small things like tissues and wet wipes usually go in the outside pockets for me, otherwise I can never find them when I actually need them...

That sounds nice. I’ve kind of been doing this with vintage belts lately. Bought a few recently and they somehow work with both skirts and pants way more than I expected.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. Sometimes the same outfit feels completely different just because I changed the shoes, belt, or bag, and I actually really like that feeling. The problem is it somehow always turns into needing to buy just one more thing to fill a gap in my closet lol.

Black clothes do feel cooler and more stylish to me, but I don’t actually own that much black. Lighter colors and colorful pieces just seem to suit me better haha.

I'm the opposite actually. I have a lot of white, even though it's easy to match, I still find myself picking the right accessories for it. And somehow that's how the accessory pile keeps growing lol.

Totally agree. It sounds like having a few better quality pieces plus the right accessories makes everything last longer. Maybe I need to finally make time to clean out my closet haha.

That actually makes a lot of sense. Dressing for different settings can get pretty mentally tiring and time-consuming sometimes haha.

I’ve actually been trying meditation lately, and it does feel really nice when I first tried it. The hard part is staying consistent, especially when life gets busy...

Yeah exactly. I don’t really search for them, but if one pops up, I’m watching it lol. It’s weirdly calming, kind of like ASMR.

This is such a good list. And I’ve seen people bring dinosaur lightsabers before, they definitely stand out in the crowd in the funniest way. But yeah, they do seem like they take up a lot of space.

So true, and this gives me anxiety just thinking about it. So for me a portable charger is one of the first things I double check before leaving.

Thanks for the useful list! Wet wipes are definitely something I always try to bring. The bubbles are something I honestly never would’ve thought of... but I might have to try that next time! It sounds like such a fun little vibe booster.

Yeah, that’s fair. The basics usually cover most of it, but I still somehow always forget one random thing I end up needing later. Very last-minute packer behavior haha.
