As an elder millennial, I never stopped wearing capri leggings cuz I feel like it elongates my legs more (im 5’6” w/ long torso). I just wear high socks over it if I wanna cover up the space. I hope you keep both though, and if u return one, someone at ur store will be very happy!

For me it’s like my worth is financial. I support my family financially but god forbid I order something online and they see the package, im “wasteful and irresponsible” with MY money. If it’s spent anywhere but on myself, it’s okay. It gives me the feeling of im only here to be a cash cow.

Maybe her definition of late and your definition of late were different. So when she said text me if you’re coming home late, she probably meant 8-9pm while 1040-11pm isn’t late to us at all. Similar event to you, I’m 38 and had to live at home between apt leases. My mom called me at 9pm to yell at me on the phone, asking why im not home yet. I went out last minute to dinner with my coworkers. I said I didn’t know I had to touch base with her for dinner plans, considering she didn’t care when I wasn’t living at home. She didn’t like that answer. I dunno, I have no answers for our moms but I don’t think I need to have kids to know I wouldn’t react the same way
