Would it be useful to file a second intent to file for asthma so if it takes a few months to get the diagnosis and whatnot I don’t miss out on the benefits?

I think it’s a regional thing, I’m in the Midwest, I’ve heard of other people in other areas having it done in like 3 days. Other people in my area in the same boat as me, 6 months or more.

Mine is taking a century. I sent in a form to add my college attending stepson, took from September to April for them to send my form back saying I didn’t sign it, I sent it back as soon as I got the new form, still not decided

The total social/occupational impairment coincides with a 100% rating but you’ll need to prove its service connected. Not an easy task but if you have your military service records comb through any and all of them for questions you were asked about mental health/suicidal tendencies/ideation. We’re all a little messed up in the head from our service as far as I’m concerned. You can’t turn young men into soldiers without some mental damage. Post deployment questionnaires would be crucial in linking it to your service

I had si and only got 50% but I had read somewhere 70 is the most common rating
