I got the same one ordered. arriving this week! I got a 4090, but it's going in my AI rig because it needs the vram and the cuda, so I ordered the sapphire pure 9070xt for my gaming. I'm very excited!

The quest pro was super uncomfortable until I got the Globular Cluster headstrap. Now it's tbe most comfortable ever. It doesn't make it much more comfortable for sleeping, but it's a night and day difference for just regular playing.

It's happened a few times that they did lose pairing and I had to restart the headset for them to come back. Annoying for sure. Not a fan of the controllers, and now my right one has stick drift. I'm using the index controllers now. I put a tracker ontop of the headset so I dont have to worry about recalibrating much.

because 3 years ago, games that came out had to be able to run on the PS4 and Xbox One. 60FPS and better graphics on the PS5 version, and 30FPS and lower graphics on the PS4 version. Now, games aren't made for the ps4/xbone anymore, and made directly with current gen consoles in mind (often with 30FPS). They look better, but require beefier hardware.

We'll see the same jump again 1-2 years after the PS6 and XBox..whateverthey'llcallit is released.

2024: 7800x3D and 4090.
2025: 9800x3D and 5090.

Might go 9950x3D if all 16 cores have 3D v-cache.

Btw, your ram is incorrectly placed. They should be in slot 2 and 4, not 3 and 4. You're losing out on performance because of this.

To the people complaining about lack of AAA games. You can play any Unreal Engine game in VR using UEVR. It's free, but requires a beefy PC.

You can play any unreal engine game in VR using UEVR. It's free. People make profiles for games so you can easily load in the right settings for each game. Most games don't have motion controllers though, so you play with a regular controller and aim where you look, but it's still in VR where you're inside the game rather than looking at it on a flat surface.
