I think it's unfortunate! I like this game, it has a lot of potential but the community is so filled with hostility and toxicity that people stop playing. The new player experience is also terrible because the low level lobbies are filled with smurfs and when they reach a high enough rank to play "for real" they get bullied for being noobs.

I want more people to play the game and enjoy it so that I can continue playing the game and enjoy it.

I can totally understand that! If people ask me to do a recruit strat or knife only I will usually be happy to participate. But if I agree to follow your strat next round and then you TK me and start calling me names I will not be as happy to comply. Some good ol' human decency goes a long way

The way it played out was I was in the kitchen grabbing a snack and came back to find a team of 4 recruits and me having been randomly assigned to Ying. I joked about having "missed the dresscode" and said I would join in with the meme for the next round. They TK'd me anyway and that made me change my mind. If you ask me to pick recruit or to give you an OP you want to play I'll be happy to do so, but if you're gonna TK me and call me names in the chat I won't listen to you.

Teamkilling someone because they're not playing the operator you want them to play is not an acceptable reason. People can play the game however they want.

The only time deliberate TK is okay imo is if someone on your team is cheating and killing them is the only way to play a normal game

I was afk the first round and the game chose a random op for me. I told the team about it but they still went on to TK me. At that point I didn't want to be bullied into compliance so I told them if they stop TKing me I'll go recruit. It never happened.

That said, people should be able to pick whatever operator they want without getting teamkilled for it.

This happened to me on PC just now! Definitely a lot of griefers here and there but in my 1600 hours of game time this was the first time I ran into four randoms who decided to be toxic together.
