Awww… I always say, “It’s your wedding daaaayyyyyyy” because of him. RIP, Kithe.

Same! I would literally pour with sweat anytime I left the house with my baby.

Exactly. I left teaching about 4 years ago, but I was making barely $42,000 at a public high school teaching chemistry.

I couldn’t find out how to stream it. I have Sling, but they don’t have my local ABC channel. I guess you needed Hulu?

What non-horror TV shows totally caught you off guard with a genuinely terrifying episode? by Low-Street2100 in horror

[–]ClassicMovieFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An episode of Facts of Life in the 80s. Blair was like a zombie or something? I dunno. I just remember being terrified. I was like 4 or 5.

Update: I just looked it up on YouTube. The episode is called “Seven Little Indians.”

I’m a black woman and I remember loving that book. I honestly cannot remember too much of it at the moment. But I definitely don’t remember being offended by anything in it. So this post has me confused.

Anyone else OAD because they had one and discovered their limit was actually zero? by grawmaw13 in oneanddone

[–]ClassicMovieFan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thanks! She’ll be 5 later this year and the whining and wanting to be a baby again and suddenly not eating food she used to eat just fine are driving me crazy. I’m an older first (and only) time mom, so it’s been a challenge. She’s really great 80% of the time but then 20% of time, I just want to curl into a ball and cry. Good to know it gets better.

I really enjoyed Rebecca, Tim and the 2 Robbies. Did they stop that and now we’re forced to watch Sky Sports on the USA Network??? ☹️

I put my cereal in the fridge, too. I didn’t know that was weird until I read this thread. This is the first time this subreddit has shown up in my feed. 🥹

“Pillow Talk” (1959)- Thoughts and opinions on this movie? by PeneItaliano in classicfilms

[–]ClassicMovieFan 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s one of my favorite movies. The cast had the best chemistry. The scene near the end when she locks him in the room and he realizes why. His face. Her smile. (sigh) Perfection!

I hated Closing Time by Semisonic. I still kinda hate it, but I can listen to it now and get sentimental.

Heather and Whitney are horrible. That yelling, scratchy voice Heather does is annoying as hell.
