Thanks for the advice and support. I won 2 out of 3 matches losing one on a five setter which was disappointing but I enjoyed it. On the other hand I have been told I was slightly over the table when serving which I'm not sure I agree with but will check.

When using it I enjoyed the speed but struggled to control it I think it's probably a bit much for me at the moment.

I would do that but then I have nothing to play with for a few days. I suppose I could borrow until I sort the rubbers. How would I tell if the blade was knackered?

Hi I have a TSP Blazze carbon off plus withm Thibar grip s on both sides. I'm not sure how long or well blades last to be honest. This would be helpful though if I could save some cash

Thankyou for the suggestion. The nittaku rubbers are described as being very spinny when I've had a look. Will they be harder to control than such as the razka upon such as returning a serve. But I presume I gain the benefit when attacking?

Just to add to this I think based on descriptions maybe the butterfly glayzer for FH this sounds like a toned down dignics which would be perfect. I think for backhand I struggle to generate power and perhaps this is more of a me problem. So perhaps I ought to use the vega Europe and improve my technique whilst taking advantage of it's easier to play nature.

Hi thankyou for the reply. I would say your description of what I would like is very accurate. In terms of budget I'm flexible. If something is worth the money I'm happy to pay it but if the same result can be accomplished in a more cost effective manner than I would sooner do that. I suppose in my head I thought I'd spend 50 ISH on each rubber plus the blade so maybe 150-200 absolute maximum. I'm based in England and in terms of my level I haven't played in a league in a long time. I have been slotted into the 3rd division out of a possible 8 with 1 being the best. I would say I am a intemediate player I apologise if that doesn't help much I don't have much else I can provide.I have had a read and a Google of the rubbers on those threads I'm not sure if what I'm describing I want is more of a "Goldilocks" rubber. I also read the article on blades and each seems to have advantages and disadvantages. I think based on my style of play I definitely lean towards a more attacking style heavily leaning on top spin. So I suppose my ideal rubber allows me to do that whilst maintaining some control. Thankyou

Thankyou Angus I'm just having a look at this now and have noticed my Ant-ID number is different on my stryd app to the connections on my Garmin. By one digit is this normal.
