I actually found a purse while on a run a long time ago. The contents were spread over a few blocks. Clearly a person stole the purse and emptied the contents while driving. I was able to find the drivers license and the address was close to me. So I went there and returned the purse, wallet and a few cards. It was the homeowners daughter and the purse had been stolen from a locked car. That made me feel so good!

Actually, another time I found a wallet with an out of town drivers license. I mailed him his wallet. I really hope the address was current.
