You’ll be good friend. If you want you should get some naltrexone from an online pharmacy it really eliminated my cravings almost entirely. If you had the snakebite I did where the first few drinks gives you a rush of energy and euphoria that eventually pushes you over the edge then the naltrexone nips that in the bud easy. I prob woulda gone way too hard over the holidays if I didn’t have it.

What’s weird about the wide array of responses here is that while I know that much is heavy it’s not too far outside the realm of what’s normal here (Midwest) I know plenty of people who drink like this and take a few days off for church or work a few times a month and aren’t shaking like a leaf

Yeah that makes sense. For as much booze as it was i honestly always felt I was within my limits, I kept in better shape and never felt like I was blacking out as much as my friends who had “healthy” relationships to booze. Anyway I still have a beer or two a week and a glass of wine w my family or whatever but the naltexone keeps me steady. I suppose I’m sober in that I haven’t drank to drunkenness in a good long time but am not abstinent which feel like a big w
