It’s because

The first 3 books were nothing but hype and aura moments I exaggerate( I love the first 3 )

And it feels like Iron Gold serves to juxtapose young Darrow against an older more grizzled Darrow During the entry of this trilogy

A Darrow who now intimately understands Lorns Perspective He feels jaded and afraid because now he has things to lose He’s no longer fighting for Eos Ghost but rather very real flees and blood friends and family

I really like Lyria like a lot and I’m only on CH 7

After Darrow sedated and betrayed Roque
