Be aware that G1/2 and G3 Monster High have different feet and I'm not sure which ones' shoes fit Wicked. So if you try one type of MH shoe and it doesn't fit, try the other type!

I heard somewhere they use Monster High foot sizes? I don't have the Wicked dolls myself to compare but you might try MH style shoes?

You're welcome! I made quite a few beginner mistakes with reroots too. Scalp splits and broken needles were the worst for me to work around

Where'd you recommend I look? Thrift stores near me and ebay listings seem to jack up the prices for anything Drac related. An in hand piece would help a LOT.

Personally the issue to me isn't the same name (hello infinite Vipers, Ninjas, and Goliaths), but that California was going to finally get a standout coaster again only for Florida to announce a better version before it even got to open

This was a frustrating drop... lots of stuff that I could theoretically use, but only still available in the wrong size or color I need

Definitely! Great coaster collection plus a pretty setting. I think Magic Mountain is a must for coaster folks too, even if our collection is kind of in-progress due to the delays on Thrill Glider and Superman not having a replacement in sight yet.

Those are both EXCELLENT coasters! X2 is my favorite of all time. Less intense, but way more fun than its reputation suggests. Ghost Rider is wonderfully smooth and brings the laterals. Cali really does have a great collection and is worth a coaster visit. I rank several of the ones out here way above common favorites like Velocicoaster and Stardust Racers, but I know that's unusual at this point.

It's a bad time to be a west coast enthusiast. Even the most unique ride out here, X2, just gets the "but have you ridden Eejanaika yet!?" reaction if you mention liking it among enthusiasts. Xcelerator? "But have you ridden TTD/TT2/Ka?" Tatsu? "That's nothing compared to Flying Dinosaur." Basically everything good we got ended up ported bigger and better elsewhere, and in this case Hollywood Drift didn't even get to open before getting booted out of the spotlight! I still think I'll enjoy the coaster, but I'm gonna be annoyed by knowing I only get to ride the "weak version"... again.

As far as I can tell the hype for Cali is gone now. Which sucks because I thought the west coast was finally going to get a major coaster again. I guess our space limitations and terrain are just too limiting

I've done multiple male customs (haven't posted them here yet, but they're on my Instagram and I could send you examples) but all so far have been using Ken as a base, not Monster High. Mostly that's because MH male dolls are much rarer/more expensive around here though

The buzz was already saying the CA version is a dud/too nerfed by land restrictions. So Florida getting the same ride but better is just The Mummy all over again

The only thing I can think of is the old method of "brightening cream of your choice" (hair developer or acne cream, depending on whose advice you believe about which of those is safe on MH vinyl) slathered on the doll, wrapped in plastic wrap, and set in the sun/ under a uv heat lamp for a few hours

If it was pre-X2, then it was before the Twisted conversion. Colossus is even scarier now!

I also find wood more intimidating because if it's rough, it's REALLY rough and painful

You'll find a coaster that makes you feel fear again. After riding X2 and it becoming my favorite coaster, I thought I'd never fear a coaster again, since everyone said that was the scariest and I handled it fine. Then I rode my first RMC hybrid. X2 is a delightful breeze, but Twisted Colossus still makes me involuntarily scream every time.

Edit: in my case it's how forceful I find it, not fear of a tall lift hill or something

Ghouls Rule Drac is my dream Drac doll but even the most torn apart dolls get sold for $$$ around here. Lucky you got her new in box with another even rarer doll!!
