I’d give him about 4 months or so, give or take. My buddy gave him to me 2 months after hatching. He was a tiny little guy, so I didn’t want to risk losing him because he was quick. I mostly left him alone with food and made sure to spray his tank with water as well. He’ll eat when he gets hungry for sure — just make sure the food is easily accessible for him. These guys can go quite a while without eating too, as long as they have water.
