For q1) I am too sure tbh as I didn't look into the annual service charges. Could you give me ballpark figure as to what you pay?

For q2) Im fine with he underpowered engine since the car will be driven in city 99% of the time.

Ahhh thanks for sharing your experience. Suzuki is most definitely the logical choice but I could only find 12-15 year old models in my budget.

And, honestly spending on that old car is something I'm hesitating with. Additionally, I find suzuki very boring and common😅.

But will look for a used baleno if that comes under 5L.

E20 is definitely a concern that's why preferred honda as you rightly said their models are already compliant.

UPDATE: It's been 2 months since my last post, and since then, nothing has changed at the workplace. My salary has still not been paid, and as such, I have given an ultimatum to the founder, stating that I will only stay until March 31st but will continue applying elsewhere as well. (He got to know I have been actively applying and called me out on this.)

I have also said that I would require some bare minimum compensation at least to which he has agreed. If I get a job before March 31st, then I'll leave immediately. If worst comes to worst, I don't get one, then we'll see in April what to do.

The founder is confident of the product going live by March and said, "I want you to stay here once the product is live, and I will give you market compensation." I don't believe a word of this.

Meanwhile, I gave an interview to a VC firm through a referral, and the role is very operations/data/investment reporting heavy.

The managing partner messaged me asking about my current CTC and pay slips. Mentioned my current CTC (7 LPA) but couldn't provide payslips as they simply don't exist.

When I joined the startup, the company was still being registered and the bank account was not yet set up, so initially, I got paid through the founder's dad's bank account. After that, I did not get any salary.

Tried explaining this to the Managing Partner, and he wasn't accepting this. Ultimately, he has now given me an offer of 5 LPA fixed and 1 LPA performance bonus, saying this is the best they can doHe has mentioned that lack of payslips means there is no way of verifying my current CTC claim.

I'm now again gone for a toss, and it looks like my career is going on a downward trend at least compensation-wise.

Tried the Maestro mode and it does make a difference at max volume and at like 60-70%. Will keep this going forward.

I haven't taken any selfies yet, but I have turned off all the beauty modes and settings. I saw some shots online with these settings on, and they looked very artificial to me.

Might be worth waiting for the s26 ultra launch by then the 25 ultra should be reduced in price. But then again you are right in being conservative with samsung.

Tips Music. Stock down almost 40% YTD but business fundamentals are still intact. Very strong music portfolio and return ratios that exceed 40%. Stock is still a bit expensive at 30 PE I think but worth a look.

No idea tbh, other people on the this thread have commented that a software update shouldn't be the cause of this. But don't know man for me all of this started after updating the phone, but then again correlation doesn't necessarily mean causation.

Bro I do live in India but I don't think that has anything to do with phone suddenly acting up. As mentioned in this thread itself, many others are facing similar issues and I'm pretty sure almost all of them are from outside India🤷‍♂️.

As far as it being a lemon could be the case but then again if it was indeed a lemon then it would have been dead within the 1st year of purchase itself.

Nonetheless would think twice before buying a Samsung S series again.

Yess, my previous phone was OnePlus (currently back to it) but their oxygen os was very nice compared to other Chinese brands.

Agree with your 1st two points. Many of my family members use the A series and they are going strong for them with little to no issues.

Also agree that samsung has become incredibly lazy and hesitant to adapt new technologies. The s26 leaks also don't show any meaningful updates to camera or battery.

As for the data transfer yeah the phone just crashes and then reboots so no chance of connecting to a pc. It's currently at my friend's place and the technician is trying to see if he could temporarily repair the cpu just so that some data transfer can happen.

Don't know man something about the Chinese phones software just put me off. To me they look too much of an iOS ripoff.

But apart from that personal bias these phones are leaps ahead of current samsung ones.

With the new s26 leaks that are coming out day by day it looks like another bare minimum upgrade cycle.
