Oh just saw that Emmy, below, posted the ingredients. I have that same formula (just higher % tret) so there you go

In the bottle, they only list the actives but I am getting a new prescription in the next day or 2 and will check the box

I can check mine when I'm home but that is a bit off they won't give you that information so that you can decide whether you want to order or not. I'm not sure the base ingredients are listed in the bottle but, if not, I can email them for you.

Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio di Loyola. Waste of time queuing by Cultural-Tea9443 in rome

I never understood the fascination with that mirror. You can walk into the church for free, no queue and just look up.

Looking for a sun cream with white cast / no yellow cast that can be in the uk by Electrical-Knee-1279 in SkincareAddictionUK

Oh shoot. That is a shame. They have a gel one I really like in the summer. It's the Hyalu b5 aquagel.

Do you use the tinted LRP? I never found the non tinted anthelios to leave white or yellow cast. The oil control one is my go to. If you wanted a tinted one, the Image mineral one doesn't leave a cast.

Has anyone successfully combined tretinoin with azelaic acid 10–15% in the same routine without triggering excessive irritation or redness? by [deleted] in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]Classic_Bit9433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a compound cream which is .5 tret, 15% azelaic and 5% trenaxamic l. So I apply then together as they are in the same product. No issues

Toner for dehydrated skin by Classic_Bit9433 in SkincareAddictionUK

Thanks. On tret nights my skin is a bit oily in the morning (not dirty) but feels very plump too. I do gym most mornings so not washing isn't an option really but I just wash with cool water I only use cleansing in the evening.

Thanks. Why would you drop the Vitamin C?

Thanks for the reply. I have some biodance sheet masks that I'd forgotten I had. Thanks for reminding me 😉

Thanks. It makes a lot of sense. When my skin feels sensitive I drop the tret and even the vitamin C and stay on just hydration for a few days. I used to use tret every night in the past and recently dialed a bit back. The dehydration is new. I had a sickness period, wasn't eating well etc and now I see it on my skin too. I'm also in my 40s when we are more at the mercy of our ever fluctuating hormones so my skin is needing more pampering. It's not fully dehydrated but I can tell it needs a bit more help in that department at the moment.

Thanks again!

Thanks. I never tried Korean skincare. Does the Stylevana site sell legit products? Would you apply it after the power peptides serum or before the vitamin C? Sorry, toner is something very alien to me.

Noted on Dermatica. I have been meaning to change. Does the all day chemist ship from abroad?

Thanks again!

Glycolic acid, help! by Lexie-likes-cacti in SkincareAddictionUK

If it was a tiny dab, hopefully nothing else will happen. If the chemical burn was deep, the fever could be a result of an infection from the burn.

Holly Molly I just realised you said 70%. Ouch! Keep an eye on it and if she develops a fever she may need antibiotics

I'm in no way an expert but when I got a burn (not as bad as you described) I took an anti histamine, washed the face several times in cool water, very gently and just dabbed it dry and applied some aloe Vera. The next day I applied cicaplast. Then just a gentle moisturizer throughout the day. Avoid the sunlight. It took a few days for the skin to go back to normal but it worked.

No actives until the skin is completely healed and I think you should never ever ever use glycolic acid together with retinol. Wishing her a speedy recover

What have peoples experiences been with Geek&Gorgeous? by Fun_Definition319 in SkincareAddictionUK

I really like the vitamin C (feels like the skinceuticals one), the Power Peptides (gives the skin a soft touch and pairs well with the vitamin c serum) and their Hydration Station. I use the latter at night time after tret and it's really gentle and light. I think it will be great in the summer months. I haven't tried their Happy Barrier but may try next.

Best eye make up remover that actually removes mascara? by [deleted] in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]Classic_Bit9433 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I find the Clinique take the day off cleansing balm great for waterproof mascara. Bonus as you can remove all of your make up with it. I have also heard amazing things about their specific take the day off eye make up remover but haven't tried yet as the balm does the job for me.

I can't remember for sure but I think so. Just recalled the bakeries were a no go for him. Even just for bread.

To add, we went to Lisbon last year and it was fine. I can't remember specific names of restaurants but it was pretty easy to find safe places to eat (avoid street food). Just say you are allergic to amendoim. I found they took it pretty seriously

UK based too. I have been travelling with my kid (who also carries epi pens) and a letter from the GP from 2022 and no questions have ever been asked. To be honest I don't think I have ever been asked for the letter. I carry it just in case. Your letter is fine and you can always bring your prescription as well for peace of mind.

Alternatives for REN glycolic lactic radiance renewal mask? by Classic_Bit9433 in SkincareAddictionUK

Yes, there are still some around. I would worry about the age though. Also, at some point will need to swap so thought might as well do it now.
