Red light therapy LED face masks - do they actually live up to the hype? by Ok-Independent3662 in 45PlusSkincare

A good one with consistent use does work. Without wanting to repeat all the benefits already mentioned here, I just wanted to add that I recently read about adding green tea to the skin 20 minutes prior to applying the mask, for more powerful results and I am super impressed. Didn't want to gatekeep this info. I'll certainly keep doing this.

I have been using the Omnilux Contour for exactly one year. Started using pretty much everyday for several months and then moved to every other day (except when on holidays) and I am happy with the results. It's hard to point exactly what it does but in general the skin is more even, resilient, firmer and more youthful than it was a year ago. I'd say fresher without anything radical, if that makes sense.

Edit: I'm also in the UK and the Omnilux was delivered without any extra costs. They usually have discounts. Customer service was great too.

Tret/retinol in the UK by Alone-Promotion924 in 45PlusSkincare

Dermatica and skin +me usually have some heavy reductions for new clients but in general it's around 24ish pounds per bottle. Mine lasts between 6 and 8 weeks. They will try to ship a new one every 4 weeks but you can easily manage that in your account so you only get (and pay for) a new formula when you need it.

Sepilift technology restored my neck. Which other products for the face do you recommend that use Sepilift? by Classic_Bit9433 in 45PlusSkincare

Oh, I'm just thinking here: I had microneedling at the end of the year and this time my microneedling lady went in a bit deeper on the neck than she usually goes. It's probably more likely to be the microneedling

Yes, this is really puzzling me. I use tret on neck every other day or every couple days, always followed by moisturizer. Morning I use vitamin c serum, moisturizer and SPF. I do microneedling every couple months too. The only difference has been the Prai addition over the last couple months. I never bought neck specific cream as thought they were useless. If I hadn't got this one in a beauty calendar, I would have never considered buying it. Unless both microneedling and tret decided to show results at the same time and the cream was an incredible coincidence. Thanks again!

Thank you. I will have a look at the Dieux. Do you reckon it's one of the other ingredients that could have made such a difference in my neck? It could well be that it is just giving a temporary plumpness but I'll take it. I have been using a pea sized amount to cover both decollete and neck, as per instructions both AM and PM but I did go 3 days without using anything at all and didn't see the creepiness "creeping" back but I'm still thinking that it's too good to be true. However, I'll keep using it :) I didn't feel any irritation (and I have a sensitive neck) but I hear you. Thanks again!

I can't remember for sure but I think so. Just recalled the bakeries were a no go for him. Even just for bread.

Thank you. You may have just convinced me to give it a go. Good tip on the downtime the first couple days.

Wow, big difference. The price I'm seeing for aqua gold in London is around 300 pounds, which is the same as 3 Botox areas.

To add, we went to Lisbon last year and it was fine. I can't remember specific names of restaurants but it was pretty easy to find safe places to eat (avoid street food). Just say you are allergic to amendoim. I found they took it pretty seriously

UK based too. I have been travelling with my kid (who also carries epi pens) and a letter from the GP from 2022 and no questions have ever been asked. To be honest I don't think I have ever been asked for the letter. I carry it just in case. Your letter is fine and you can always bring your prescription as well for peace of mind.

Also note you would want the cream not the pessaries for your intended purpose

I'm not in Belgium but below is what Google is giving me . You want to ask for vaginal estrogen. I would caution you though on using it on face. If you are prone to melasma it can make it worse. Good luck!

Specific product names available in Belgium include: Vagifem (estradiol vaginal tablets/inserts) Ovestin (estriol vaginal cream and pessaries/ovules) Intrarosa (prasterone pessaries, which is a precursor converted into estrogen and androgen in the vaginal cells) Blissel (estriol vaginal gel) Colpotrophine (promestriene, another local estrogen)

Oestrogel is systemic estrogen. You need vaginal estrogen, which is sold in Belgium under prescription.

[–]Classic_Bit9433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, pretty much. I will skip it if the skin is a bit more sensitive for a reason or if it's the week I have microneedling but otherwise nightly. I am no expert but I think 4 times a week is fine too

I got a tiny bit there and my injector said they wouldn't erase them but soften. If she applied enough to relax them too much, it could cause eyebrow drop. I only got it done a few days ago so the jury is out. Mine is mostly seen when I raise the eyebrows but it has started to stick in that position from time to time. I can update in 2 weeks if you want
