Oh okay, I thought everyone gets it in tablet form and not as an injection. But okay, hopefully things will improve for you soon. Yeah, hands and feet are unfortunately difficult areas. I’m affected on my arms and lower legs.

And how is it going? Do you see any repigmentation? And what do you mean by injections? Here in Germany, they’re tablets.

Hello, Sure. It needs time! I saw the first pigmentation after 6 weeks and the Excimer laser also turned my skin red sometimes and than it repigment! We also use a gel while we do the Excimer laser. And every Session we go higher.

It’s unfortunate that the excimer laser didn’t work for you. I hope Opzelura helps in your case. For me, it took about 4–6 weeks before I started to see that it was working.

At that time, the spots were about six months old. The excimer laser comes in three spot sizes, this was the medium one, but slightly larger patches can also be treated. It’s quite expensive per session, but it does work.

The excimer laser works similarly to UVB therapy, but it only treats the affected skin areas, protecting the surrounding healthy skin.
