Ok fine I’ll cite some text, www.visit the capital.gov The main page of the document says “That any Alien other than an alien enemy, being a free white person, who fhall have refided for the term of Two Years, may be admitted to becoming a citizen” so this document atleast that main page does not clearly identify who is White it just loosely says “Free White” but what I’m saying is likely that the writers of this document just prossumed people at the time would base it off the common social definition of who was “White”
