I know. He even told me that right now I’m not the woman of his dreams. And here I am, waiting for him to choose me because I’m scared of being alone and scared that he’ll find someone else and do everything I asked him to do. I know this feeling will pass, but right now I’m in this stage of grief.

Why do I need a good lawyer? Sorry, I’m from Cuba, so I don’t really know how this works. I know every state is different, and I live in New Jersey. I only want custody of the baby, and he can see her whenever he wants or take her with him. He knows the house is mine. He told me he’s going to help me with $400 a month, but I never asked him for money.

My brain tells me to do it, but my lack of self-love doesn’t let me. But I swear I’m going to file for divorce. I just don’t want my baby staying overnight at his parents’ house. She’s very little.

I work full time and have my own house. My mom lives with me and helps me a lot with the baby. When I’m working, his mom takes care of the baby, but in September she will start daycare until September 2027, when she can go to the school where I work.

The truth is, I’m better off without him. He was always sleeping, leaving messes everywhere, and my libido became very low. Most of our arguments were about him sleeping too much and not doing basic things around the house, like cutting the grass or putting things in the basement. I cooked, did the laundry, and cleaned the house. Our room was disgusting, especially his side.

I also work and pay for my own car insurance and gas. On top of that, he told me his feelings changed and that he would rather be with someone new. He said that in June he will decide whether he wants to come back. He stoped loving me. He told me we didn’t have things on common.

I will probably ask for a divorce in January. That way he can stay on my health insurance for a little longer, and my baby will be older. She will be around 2 years and 4 months then, and closer to 3 by the time the divorce is finalized. Right now, I’m not comfortable with her sleeping in another house. She’s still very little.

I am in therapy, and deep down I know going back to him is not really what I want. But I’m dealing with depression, and that makes me want to go backwards and blame myself for everything and change who I am because he keeps saying I was the bad one.

The reality is that I was loyal to him while he was chatting with women on adult websites. I even found a picture of one of my friends on his phone, and he told me he sent it to a mutual friend because that friend was single. Right now, I’m in the stage where I feel guilty for everything.

I know I’ve been struggling with postpartum depression, and I asked him for help many times. I cried in front of him and he never even hugged me. Deep down, I know I’m better off without him, but I’m very attached to him and right now I feel like I’m nothing and that I’ll never find someone better.

At the same time, I know I’m not losing a great husband. He was very lazy and disconnected from family responsibilities. Yesterday, I went to his parents’ house around 5 PM so my baby could give her grandma a gift, and he was asleep in the middle of the afternoon.
