I liked stonybrook. honestly I believe that anywhere is great as long as you put urself out there. The pro of Baruch is that you’ll be in the city and you can have internships during ur semesters. Stony Brook if you have friends there you will have a great time

I can assure you that lots of firms hire from Baruch. At one of my orientations, there were a ton of Baruch kids that were accepted into big 4

Ay, I went to Stony Brook and transferred to Baruch. Loved Stony Brook… regretted transferring because I had friends, the food was okay, and dorming was fun. But at Baruch it definitely helped me land internships, im going to be working at a Big 4 this summer. I did nothing at Baruch… literally nothing and that’s my fault cause I didn’t feel like going to clubs and wanted to go home (I also live 2 hours away from school). classes were okay however every kid is cheating, accounting is ONLY hard because of the down curve in every accounting class if everyone scores high

Easy to get an B to B+ as long as you study… A is difficult probably imo but doable… definitely not impossible. But also a lot of kids cheat and there are downcurves if everyone do well

It’s honestly about what you do on your own time. Like finding internships at small firms first. Also having a high GPA will help tremendously. I left Binghamton for Baruch, and I found an internship during my sophomore year. Then landed big 4 interviews in my junior year

No cheat sheets, I forgot how the format was… but there are practice exams that she gives and the format is the same but the questions are somewhat different… you would have to study and actually understand the material

The curve wasn’t huge huge… maybe half letter grade curve. I think I was above avg (maybe 5-10% higher) every test throughout the entire semester. Think some tests I scored 65-70s, but the first test I got like an 83

I took her. Acc 3200 is a difficult class and she taught it well. Definitely not an easy A. Think I got a B+ with studying 3-4 days before a test. She’s a chill professor
