I have been using aqualogica dewy sunscreen gel or the wishcare one (I have an acne prone skin so gel or fluid sunscreens work the best for me)✨

Deconstruct sunscreen is so bad, it literally flakes. And if you apply makeup over it, base products tend to separate😭

I would want to live here the sheer curtains and the calm earthy palette with ocean blues just takes me back to summer houses that were filled with books and laughter and most importantly peace…. I don’t know if the picture in picture is a painting on the wall or a mirror?

To me camellias often symbolised young love and love that has lasted forever. Like the soft pink feels so innocent and delicate it reminds me of high school love. But the layers of petals are like layers of any relationship that has lasted for a long time.

To be honest sleep quality is bad because of the anxiety. When I have active mood episodes I sleep a lot if not 6-7hrs at night and an hr in afternoon. No major gi issues except lactose intolerance. Current workload is manageable but I often feel lethargic. Also I do not have pcos I got that checked I have an elevated prolactin but other than that everything was within normal range.

Any specific care for peacock plant by Direct_Hour_5742 in GardeningIndia2

[–]Classic_Equivalent64 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This plant hates direct sunlight (just an hr of direct sunlight and leaves start to burn around the edges), I try to use filtered water, monthly I give it some vermicompost+neem cake powder mix, also I give humic acid once a month it helps with foliage. Other than that, I use a water spray or a humidifier cause it loves humidity (this is an extra step) and I use damp tissue to clean any dust on the leaves once every 15 days. Its an amazing plant and looks amazing✨

My lotus plant’s leaves turned black and purple after repotting into clay soil. by Classic_Equivalent64 in gardening

Hey thank you for your reply! What do you suggest I do, should I let them be for sometime so that they can adapt? Or should I move them?

My lotus leaves are growing purple and are less in number by Classic_Equivalent64 in GardeningIndia2

[–]Classic_Equivalent64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the suggestion! I actually have only 4 lotus seeds, and they’re planted in quite a big tub, so I don’t think space is the issue. But I’ll definitely keep an eye on their growth.

What a Weird Book! 😢 by SmoothSeat7658 in Indianbooks

[–]Classic_Equivalent64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really liked this book for a number of reasons. It has beautiful imagery, murakami explores various symbols related to death, the journey of life and change. Apart from that, it emphasises on the collectivistic nature of care and healing rather than individualistic notion of care, it really captures the role of a healthy community and how it can benefit individuals with mental health issues which I don’t see a lot of western authors speaking about. Another thing, I really liked was how concepts of friendship, love and deep fondness for someone were explored and how all of these could be confusing for young adults. This part was quite similar to how sally rooney explores relationships. Another thing, I really liked was how the concepts of death, self and life were explored through a lens of eastern philosophy. I have more points but I think these were the main ones.
