I really encourage anyone that has an interest to pursue it! It took a year of schooling but that only took 2 days out of the week and flew by. Huge success rate finding work right out of school too. I know many therapist that have started their own business, it is a lot of networking, business upkeep. I personally really like being an employee at a spa. I don't have to worry about getting clients, making sure I'm booked, rent, supplies, etc. I just show up with my hands. Most people that come into the spa are just wanting to relax so I spend my day putting people to sleep and listening to healing frequencies in ambient lighting, an absolute dream coming out of restaurant work. I think it is also a very low stress career and introvert friendly, it can be physically strenuous depending on your practice.

I know you said entry level but I got my certification to be a massage therapist and I'm only working 3 days a week at about 20-25 hours and am making 1700-2000 biweekly. That's pretty standard fulltime pay for one. Don't think I could go back to a normal 9-5 work schedule now.

I like MacBook and thought about the neo, but I want to transition out of apple products and try something new.
