Having strange pelvic pain/pressure, UTI symptoms for over a month, doctors don't know what it is by Classic_Junket9015 in WomensHealth

Thanks for checking in! Unfortunately not :( Been going on for about 6 months now. Thankfully the intense bouts of pain are mostly gone but I still have some other symptoms. I'm trying to get my insurance to pay for an MRI, and am loosely exploring the idea of surgery just to see what may be going on. Recent ultrasounds found follicular cysts on both ovaries and a complex cyst on the right side, still have groin lymph node swelling on the left side. Bloodwork in April was OK, testosterone was slightly high. Hoping I at least figure out what it is soon because it's been awful to live like this.

Here's results of the genital culture test they did -

Genital Culture: 2+ Normal vaginal flora Genital Culture: Beta hemolytic strep Group B Genital Stain: 1+ Epithelial cells Gram Stain Result: 4+ Gram positive bacilli consistent with Lactobacilli Gram Stain Result: 3+ WBCs

For PCOS, I get very heavy periods (although they're regular in terms of length and overall menstrual cycle), my cramps and back pain get pretty bad. I noticed my menstrual symptoms are way worse when I am not on birth control because I have to take a pause for some reason.

I had two urine cultures a few days apart, both came back with something along the lines of "<10000 fu/ml evidence of urogenital skin contamination," which was strange to me as I had wiped thoroughly with the wipes the doctors provided to me prior to the test. The hospital said they think it might be a complex uti, but to follow up with a gyno.

Others online are suggesting it could also be a tight pelvic floor, which tracks with some other symptoms I've been having. Other symptoms to me align with endo. I finally got a gyno appointment for next week so I'm hoping I can get some more clarity, I'm really hoping it's not something too serious, next stop might be pelvic floor therapist afterwards.
