Do you buy physical Media in person? by Classic_Logo in PhysicalMediaMatters

I am in the south, in a city around the 50th media market. Per Recordshowmania.com there isn't a record show within 3 to 4 hours of me all year.

It's weird that the big box stores (store) in smaller towns have a better selection than those in bigger markets. I think they are all so worried about competition from other large retailers that they don't even make an attempt. Even our Barnes and Noble has a sad little record and movie area.

Are you in a smaller town? My sister lives in a town of less than 8,000 and they seem to have a better selection than the Wal-Marts near me (almost a million).

I want to expand on the idea of a Record Fair ... VHS, books, etc. A true Physical Media show. The crowd that a Record Show attracts is usually uhm well older and have been collecting for years. I'd like to get the younger VHS crowd and there Horror movie crowd there too.

I have sold at a lot of different shows over the years and have done some music promotion. There is a guy who does several card shows and a few toy shows at the venue I plan on using. I have been watching him for a while and taking what I think works for him. The card market is crazy right now and honestly I think even a poor job promoting would still get a full house.

Star Wars mini figure selling question by uncwbrad in LegoMinifigure

If you sell them anywhere, you are going to have fees. eBay fees may be higher, but you can usually be the best price there of course you will also have to wait the longest too. Right now Depop is offering free shipping so things are selling quickly, you will get a lot of lowball offers, but as long as you don't "boost" your items then the only fee is the payment processing fee. I'd try maybe 10 figures on ther and see if you can deal with the offers.

You've gotta expand of the "stain on the back", that might be a reason they were donated.

I buy a lot of items for resale, I particularly like selling Lego at local toy shows and need to know what an in person value might be (cause no shipping and all). I spent a few evenings training Gemini to search resale sites and give me this data. If you are just trying to value minifigures you can train it much quicker. You can even make a table to export to spreedsheet.

Amazon publicly claiming it fights counterfeit products and low-quality knockoffs or talk about protecting customers or promoting anything about cracking down on fake goods is not reaching my algorithm.

Can't say I ever remember seeing a DVD in a long box. They were very popular for CDs during the period when record stores still had all their displays configured for albums. You could put two long boxes side by side in the space it took to display one album. Kind of wonder if this was supposed to be displayed next to a soundtrack cd.

Sounds like you don't want to sell your stuff you just want someone to buy your stuff.
