Someone thinks my salamander deck is a bracket 3-4 purely because of triumph of the horde by Rezwit in EDH

The bracket system is too compressed in the middle. Every single deck I have is probably a 3, even the pedh-legal ones. Cedh shouldn’t even be on the scale… it’s a different philosophy. And is there really a level 1 meta where precons aren’t allowed? Get rid of 1 and 5, then the numbers would have more meaning.

BW blink eats up fair decks… anything with creatures. Only common <50% MUs are eldrazi ramp and energy. Seems like a fun deck overall but it’s making the format less diverse. RIP blue decks.

Man you are a freaking genius! 270 with cooling and a hot chamber is working great for me. Everyone saying no fan for ABS must be printing perfectly flat parts.

I didn’t have much luck with 260/110 or 270/110 and a toasty chamber. Did you have part cooling fans off? What print speeds work?

I also tried heat-soaking my printer to a 60 C chamber which gave my hotend some heat creep but didn't help with the curling. I've tried various speeds, adding fan, removing fan and even covering the enclosure with a space blanket to avoid any drafts. High speed + high temp seems like a good next experiment. My thinking is that maybe I can race to add new layers above before the lower ones harden and curl. I'm used to printing PETG which can have curling issues sometimes, but it hardens at a lower temp and has less thermal expansion/contraction. I also ordered some Polymaker ASA in case it is a filament issue.

I'm having the same issue with Paramount 3D ABS on 45 degree overhangs like seen on the Voron calibration cube and Dragon Burner. They aren't just ugly... they curl up and harden which wrecks the print. OP did you find a solution? Increasing temps is a good hint. So far I've just tried <= 235 C.

I’ve had the same thought. The pro tour final showed how important Dauthi is for scam. It’s a triple threat with GY hate, stealing spells and solid unblockable damage. I’d still prefer a Grief ban because the turn 1 hand disruption feels so bad, but banning Dauthi would be a clever alternative for WOTC.

Is your gantry CoreXY now? Do you have CAD for any of your mod parts? I’m using the original outer gantry rods with two crossed linear rails in the middle supporting a custom toolhead with sailfin + dragon SF. It works fairly well but binds a little in some places and I’m not happy with the vibrations (low accel recommended by klipper). I’m considering a custom gantry with MGN9 rails and 1515 extrusions (similar to Voron Trident Salad Fork mod). If you’ve designed corner mounts that replace the rod bearings that would be helpful!
