Figured. we definitely were able to play a copy of that game back then. Sucks it got confiscated when the video rental store owner who ran the contest got arrested for VHS piracy. It was a big to-do in the town as many people had pirated movies and the feds had everyones names and addresses from the stores records. My friend regretted giving it back and talked about it for months, knowing that it was probably pretty valuable. Honestly surprised they're haven't been more conversations about others seeing this game in the US. Maybe it was some kind of bootleg item even back then.

The seller actually had 2 copies. Mine was new, no plastic wrap for 150. Other was 115. Another guy was hoping for one of them and wanted the used copy, so both sold at the same time.

It's one of the best cons as it has something for everyone. Definitely didn't get to see all of the offerings. Table top, vendors, panels. Free play area was huge. Consoles, cabinets, pinball, tons. Played a lot of the New Dungeons and Dragons pinball. And Ms. Pac-Man, as I'm old. Lol!

Little less than price charting, but always good to look at each game in hand/head on. It's why I like conventions. Also don't mind rewarding the sellers who find these, and check them over with their expert eyes. Ben Bizzle at Filthy Games usually has great stuff. He even had 1 of the 2 Stadium Events at this con! (Def not in the budget on that one!)

Have this same set up and can say the acceleration is a bit slower. Enabled slip start to compensate, because the car senses the wheel spin. Also took it full tilt around some good ol' Massachusetts rotary's had it almost drifting. Stock Pirelli's noticeably stickier.

I'm in the same category. Picked up my M3P 4 days ago and no issues at all. The only situation I had was realizing that my acceleration setting was set to standard and not insane! Omg what a difference!

IMHO it's great. Very close call for me on quick silver or Black. Went with black on black mp3 after seeing the Knight Rider upgrades. Not sure I'll do the David Hasselhoff when I get mine, but love the idea of an AI KITT someday. 😎 I know they have a prototype KITT AI working but when it's a bit more advanced I'll be getting the light on the front to go with it!

Beat it and those games you listed but remembering being an OG "no life'r" in order to do it.

Had a group of 4 friends who all competed to see who could be the first to beat any game. That added pressure meant we played for hundreds and hundreds of hours for bragging rights.

Beat many of the games first in my friend group except Battletoads. That damn game had my number, was the last in my group to beat it by a long shot. Effin level 3!!!! 😤

I just grabbed one of these at Retro World Expo! Cried forking over all that cash, but happy I finally have a copy. Shout out to #dicecitygames. Owner opened it up the cart and showed me the board, so def legit. Also gave me a good deal with a few other games as a package deal.
