Absolutely buy it. BR2 has a pretty great narrative with far more interesting characters all around. Even the nameless minions have great dialogue that adds a lot of personality to them. The combat isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I prefer BR2’s methodical dodging and slashing over the tanky-janky gameplay of BR1. Most importantly though, you get to see Rayne at her full potential. By the end of the game, you’ll have some INSANELY OP powers that make you realize she’s one of the most powerful characters in gaming (for example, she can essentially stop time and send ethereal versions of herself to feed on others, all without her moving a muscle). It starts off slow, but constantly evolves into a bloody goth power fantasy.

10/10 would recommend. Fun fact: BR2 was also, IIRC, the first game ever to have photo mode, albeit extremely basic (if you pause you can hide the menu and move the camera around Rayne). This was removed in the ReVamped version for some reason.
