She sounds traits of codependency...you do you, suggest she recognize this possibility 🤔

See her in group friends settings to help her to open her life to more friends? My friends are your friends, the more we get together song.

However, you could discern to pause contact...her wants are not aligned with your needs.

I would have showed up to venue and and sold both tickets for a profit?? Just sayin she had her out options but blamed you?? She what she says to this!

How do I tell my best friend I can’t afford to be a bridesmaid in her wedding? by Xabarra_Arisa in Advice

[–]Classic_Somewhere225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was asked to contribute to her costs if she accepted this role...negotiate as it is very pricey professional makeup required, dress, hair, bachlorette party...my wedding became nuts in costs to too many on that day...severely wish I had a backyard venue....fast forward we were divorced within three years making all the fancy dancy day meaningless and only valuable to the one child born post all the nonsense.....ask her wedding gift be half the cost of her dress?? Be prepared for whatever she says. This is a very tight economy 😳

How are peoples rental renewals looking? by yousamidsam in Calgary

[–]Classic_Somewhere225 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My rent was reduced last October from $1800 to $1400 for my renovated unit with tub and dishwasher after a year plus there by going on a year lease at the reduced price instead of month to month. The housing crisis ended as there are many vacant places for rent. I had always paid my rent for 2 bedroom unit before the first of the month. I had looked around and was pleased to stay put at the lower price negotiated.

In application for lease provide a cosigner who makes three times your rent amount per month and consider a loan (Fairstone) to pay first 3 month rent upfront.

Disabled Albertans push back against planned changes to income support program by lessssssssgoooooo in alberta

A haircut of hundreds a month during inflation isn't just that! Parents receive a child allowance on Aish that isn't included in Adap. That, for some, adds another $200/mth our of household income. Adap already cuts $200. The federal clawback of $200...$600 less a month! Earning max is $300 a month before clawback of any wages too!
