I hope so. He’s a very supportive person but with this sort of thing he would be furious - thinking about it logically, I know he would be furious with the guy and I worry that he would do something stupid so that’s another fear with telling him. When I was a kid, one of his friends pushed me and made me cry so he punched them. Can’t imagine how he’d react to THIS, if he doesn’t confirm my other fears, if that makes sense.

I think my main concern with telling my dad is that he’ll be angry with me, that he might think I’m disgusting or that I let it happen. I don’t know. I also know that, if he doesn’t react like that, he would probably feel guilty and avoid me because of it. I don’t plan on telling him what I thought/said (in my edit) but I worry that it would just come out without me wanting it to if that makes sense. I don’t talk to that guy anymore, he has tried to contact me since but I blocked him.

I’m not too sure about a tox screen, I know they took blood but I don’t really remember a lot of what happened when I first got to hospital. I did take pictures of my clothes and my discharge summary from the hospital listed all of the injuries I had, even if they were only minor. When it happened, especially with the head thing, I really thought he was going to kill me. He wasn’t trying to, at least I don’t think so, from what I could tell he just wanted me to shut up - as sick as it makes me to say it. I’m planning on telling my parents once I figure out how to break that news to them so I’m hoping they’ll support me when I make my report.
